The online booking service available at reservation.maison-vehira.fr (the "Service") is published and operated by SARL TSPDV, a French limited liability company with registered office at 17 rue Gambetta, 06140 Vence, France — SIRET 511 416 281 00026, EU VAT FR49 511 416 281, licensed private hire vehicle operator (VTC) registered under no. EVTC006190169, trading as "Maison Vehira" (the "Maison"). Contact: contact@maison-vehira.fr — +33 (0)6 86 41 52 56.
These Terms and Conditions of Sale ("Terms") exclusively govern chauffeur-driven passenger transport services booked and paid for online through the Service. Any booking implies prior, express and unreserved acceptance of these Terms, evidenced by a mandatory checkbox before payment. Bespoke services agreed outside the Service (quotations, events, extended hire) are subject to separate specific conditions.
The service consists of a private transfer between a pick-up address and a destination address located within the served perimeter (coast and hinterland of the Alpes-Maritimes and Var, from Menton to Saint-Tropez, including the Principality of Monaco), on the date and at the time selected by the client at booking, aboard a vehicle of the selected class (E-Class sedan, V-Class van, S-Class prestige sedan), driven by a professional chauffeur holding the French VTC professional licence. The Service also allows the booking of a chauffeur-driven vehicle by the hour from an address within the served perimeter, for a chosen duration of no less than three (3) hours, inclusive of thirty (30) kilometres per booked hour. The client may declare an itinerary of stops at booking (up to four), with or without return to the starting point, at their choice; itinerary mileage exceeding the included allowance is charged at one euro twenty-five (€1.25) incl. VAT per kilometre and paid in advance with the booking. Mileage actually travelled in excess of the mileage paid is invoiced after the service at the same rate, based on the vehicle's reading.
The price is calculated and displayed before payment, inclusive of all taxes (VAT at the applicable rate: 10% for transfers, 20% for hire by the hour). It is determined by the journey, the pick-up date and time, forecast traffic conditions and the selected vehicle class; a surcharge applies to night-time pick-ups (from 6:00 pm to 9:00 am the following day) as well as on Sundays and French public holidays, disclosed before payment. The price displayed and accepted at payment is firm and final for the service described: it varies neither with actual traffic on the day of the transfer nor with the route actually taken, which the chauffeur chooses in the client's best interests.
A booking becomes final only upon full online payment by bank card through the secure Stripe platform; no card data passes through the Maison's servers. Upon payment, the client receives a confirmation email setting out all the characteristics of the service and the booking reference. This email constitutes confirmation of the contract. The Maison reserves the right to decline a booking that is manifestly erroneous, fraudulent or materially impossible to perform; in such a case, the amount paid is refunded in full.
In accordance with Article L221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to passenger transport services to be provided on a specified date or period. By proceeding with payment, the client requests performance of the service on the agreed date and expressly acknowledges waiving any right of withdrawal, as confirmed by the mandatory checkbox prior to payment.
Any cancellation by the client, for whatever reason and at whatever notice, shall not entitle the client to any refund of the amount paid. The same applies where the client fails to appear at the agreed place and time ("no-show"), and in the event of cancellation, delay or diversion of the client's flight, train or vessel, such contingencies being beyond the Maison's control. The client declares having expressly accepted this clause through the checkbox prior to payment. The Maison recommends that clients verify the compatibility of these conditions with their travel insurance.
For airport pick-ups, the chauffeur tracks the flight indicated by the client and attends the arrivals area with a complimentary waiting period of forty-five (45) minutes after actual landing, included in the price. For other pick-ups, the complimentary waiting period is fifteen (15) minutes after the agreed time. Beyond these periods and absent contact with the client, the service is deemed a no-show within the meaning of Article 7. Should the Maison cause a pick-up delay exceeding thirty (30) minutes not attributable to force majeure, the client may request cancellation and a full refund of the service.
Should the Maison be unable to perform the service, including in cases of force majeure, it shall inform the client without delay and refund the amount paid in full, to the exclusion of any other compensation. The Maison shall not be liable for the consequences of delays caused by traffic conditions, weather, road checks or closures, or any external event; the client remains solely responsible for the margin allowed for onward connections.
The client warrants the accuracy of the information provided at booking. The number of passengers may not exceed the capacity of the booked class. Passenger conduct must not compromise the chauffeur's safety or dignity; the Maison may terminate a service without refund in the event of dangerous, unlawful or gravely inappropriate behaviour. Minors travel under the responsibility of an adult. The carriage of animals and special requests (child seat, oversized luggage) must be indicated in the "Remarks" field at booking. The number of passengers, suitcases and cabin bags declared at booking determines the required vehicle category. The Maison may, at its sole discretion and subject to availability, upgrade the client free of charge to a category higher than the one booked, at no additional cost; such an upgrade is not a right and does not alter the price paid. Conversely, should the client present at pick-up with passengers or luggage exceeding the capacity of the booked category, the pick-up may be deferred until a suitable vehicle is made available, subject to the Maison's availability; the client shall then pay, before departure, the difference between the price paid and the fare of the required category at the prevailing conditions. Any waiting or postponement shall give rise to no compensation, and the impossibility of providing a suitable vehicle within a reasonable time shall be treated as a no-show within the meaning of Article 7.
Data collected at booking (identity, contact details, journey, flight number) is necessary for the performance of the contract and invoicing. It is retained for the statutory period applicable to accounting records and is neither transferred nor sold to third parties; it is shared only with necessary technical processors (payment provider Stripe, host OVH).
